Please share a little about yourself

I was bought up in a gorgeous place in New Zealand called Wanaka.

My family owned a restaurant, so food and business was something I was always surrounded by. I am a new Mum to a divine little 5 month old girl called Harper and nothing makes me happier than waking up everyday and helping people through Eat Fit Food to better their lives.


How did your business come about?

Something clicked one day, I was working in the gym but felt this was not my true passion. I felt that I had something more to offer people out there, so I gave it all in, bought a health food grill; talked to a few friends into becoming my first clients and off I went. This was back in 2002 when I was only 22.


The most rewarding part of your job?

I have always wanted to educate people that eating well can be an enjoyable part of everyday not just something we do on and off. I love helping people. The joy I get in receiving emails from clients whose lives we have changed is absolutely priceless.

 

What haven’t you done yet that you wish you could?

Open a health retreat and an organic farm. This is number 1 on my Bucket list and I’m very excited to be working on this as my next step with the business.

 

Favourite place in the world?

I LOVE Paris and my of course my home town Wanaka in New Zealand.

 

If you were a spice, which would you be?

The brightest one Chilli, colourful and full of spice.

 

5 things you can’t live without?

Food, Exercise, Family, Meditation, Being in Nature

 

If you could choose to eat anything in the world for your next meal, what would it be?

Crab pasta or an abundance of fresh seafood fresh form the markets with a summer green salad.

 

 

What was for breakfast?

I am a big fan of Sonoma soy linseed bread with fresh tomato, avocado, a drizzle of olive oil, sea salt & pepper

 

How would you classify your eating style?

Healthy, fresh and clean with a couple of our Eat Fit Food favorites for the family, such as - Chilli Con Carne and our famous Lamb Tagine. These are great comforting meals in the colder temperatures and yes they are also healthy!

 

Your favourite way to stay active?

Boxing, Running, Kung-Fu

 

What is your favourite dish on the current Eat Fit Food menu?

Spiced 7 hour lamb pilaf with pomegranate, kale & coconut dressing.

 

Your best advice for living a wholesome, healthy lifestyle?

Make sure you have a good balance in all aspects of your life. Eat well, exercise for fun, be happy and tick something off your goals every week. Surround yourself with people who inspire and motivate you along this path.
